The Kansas Horizon Foundation exists to support economic development initiatives in rural Kansas.  Projects supported by the Kansas Horizon Foundation are funded through the Technology-Enabled Fiduciary Financial Institutions (TEFFI) Act.

Based in Hesston, KS - we are working diligently to launch both large and small scale development projects in our home community.

Beyond Hesston, as of early 2026, the Kansas Department of Commerce has awarded more than $3.5 million in Strategic Economic Expansion and Development (SEED) grants to rural communities. Funded through TEFFI Act, these grants support quality-of-life projects in towns with populations of 5,000 or less.
